Bergamot essential oil is distilled from the plant that offers the delicious fragrance of early gray tea. The citrus aroma is fruit forward with a warm spicy quality. Bergamot essential oil blends well with frankincense, geranium, orange, rosemary and vetvier.

Bergamot is known to reduce nervous tension, stress and anxiety related to hormonal imbalances. Use bergamot for emotional support to induce a sense of calm & relaxation when experiencing feelings of irritation. Topically, bergamot can be used to balance oily, acne prone skin. 

Note: certain types of bergamot essential oil have phototoxic properties and exposure to the sun must be avoided after application to the skin.
